WPF and XAML

As a Flex developer during the roaring days of Flash (between 2006 and 2012), I am excited that the future of Microsoft platforms hinges on a very similar application markup language, XAML.

Both Windows 8 for desktops, and the Windows 8 Phone operating systems are based on WPF featuring the XAML markup language.  Apparently, the future of the WPF, XAML and C# technology stack are as secure as the future of Microsoft.
